I think Matayia was actually excited to start school this year, though she did get a little nervous. She was a little disapointed that some of her friends were not in her class again this year but I convinced her it was a good opportunity to make new friends. Her teacher is Mrs. Bernfield and she seems to be pretty nice. School started on the 25th of August so Matayia went to the third grade just barely eight!!
