This year Matayia's spring break was the Monday after Easter Sunday so we decided to head up to Logan. Easter was a little different in Logan because the Easter bunny doesn't get to hide the eggs outside since it is too cold so the Easter bunny was nice enough to hide the eggs in the house downstairs. Matayia and Kaitlyn didn't even get up and look for the baskets because the Easter bunny doesn't usually come until after church but since it was conference weekend also he hid them early. When they finally noticed he had come, around 10:00. They were excited to gather all their loot. Easter was a nice relaxing day complete with some great talks from our church leaders. I am proud to announce it is the first time I can ever remember not falling asleep while trying to listen to conference. (I was proud of myself)
Greg went home Sunday night, while the girls and I stayed to enjoy a little spring break in Logan. Though it wasn't much really spring weather, Tuesday we woke up to a couple of inches of snow. Grandma and the girls went out to build a snowman, but by Wednesday almost all the snow had melted. Though the weather wasn't that warm we did get a visit to the park in, of coarse some play time at the school gym, and who could forget movie night at the awesome aunt Melissa's house.
