"This is the place"

We (Stacey, Melissa, Mom and all the kids) met in Salt Lake to go to Heritage Park. We watched the weather and waited for a day that was only supposed to be in the 80's. I will have to say it was quite a pleasant day weather wise. The kids seemed to really enjoy this little monument park dedicated to the pioneers of Utah. While there we visited the church, That was originally built by a man who built boats. He said if the earth were to be flooded and the church flipped upside down it would float. The kids didn't care much about this, we were just lucky to get them all on the stage at the same time.

We then headed over to one of the little farm house where the kids got to try to use the plow. Needless to say Matayia needed a little help... Thanks Annie! We then watched some ladies in their pioneer dresses try to catch a pig that had escaped from its pen. i am sure this was not a planned attraction but we had a great time watching them run around. At one point they said we could help them catch the pig, We just laughed and said we enjoyed watching them.

There were trees to climb...

Playhouses to play in...

Horses to ride...

A bank to measure your gold at...

And don't forget a few trains to ride!!

Along with many other houses and shops to visit along the way. All and All we had a great day together with our family!!!
