When we decide tot drive all the way to Island Park we just feel like we need to visit Yellowstone because we are so close. I have fond memories of visiting Yellowstone when I was a kid and I love to walk down memory lane. After a few fun days at the cabin in Island Park we decided to hit Yellowstone for a day. It was a beautiful day, it had been raining the previous couple of days and we were lucky Io get blue skies for most of the day. We visited fire hole, the painters pots, old faithful and made a few other stops along the rode to see the wildlife. I will have to admit I am a little nervous about some of the wildlife. Deep down I know that they won't hurt us but I just have this vision of a sudden stampede of bison charging my children. I know, call me crazy!! Once again Greg snapped alot of really good pictures. We are hoping to maybe visit Island Park/Yellowstone again maybe this winter, to see some of the sights covered in snow. All and All another great trip to Yellowstone.
