When Kaitlyn was 18 months old we finally broke down, (I say broke down because we and the doctors really drug our feet on it) and put tubes in her ears. Earlier this summer while cleaning out Kaitlyn's ears I looked in their and got a glimpse of a bright green tube. I quickly looked in the other ear and yes, I could see them both. Being the picker that I am this drove me crazy. The tubes were just out of my reach. (don't judge) In August Kaitlyn had a 6 month check up on her ears. I was hoping that the doctor would pull the tubes out. While we were waiting in the patient room I quickly snapped a photo of her in the big chair. Greg laughed about the "blogging moment" I was hoping to blog about how we would not be visiting the ear specialist again. But... no the doctor would not pull the tubes out in fear of tearing a hole in one ear, and she already has a hole in the other ear. So we will be visiting the ear specialist again in a few months hoping that the hole has healed on its own, or into surgery we go again. So much for my early celebration!!
